If ghosts can haunt anywhere, why do they always choose old and creepy houses?

Personally I believe jinn exist in a different dimension. > not ghosts<

right. i mean, there's no coherent metaphysics about ghosts because... they don't exist. BUT part of their mythology is a deep emotional connection or grievance to the place they were wronged/ hurt/ killed/ etc.

so ghosts are stuck in the place they died.

but it goes the other way, too. people assume "creepy" places are haunted.

Agreed. Ghosts are just a state of mind, where people think they experienced something "abnormal."

That's why I think they can't even hunt.
