They both have their trade-offs

I think it's important for a public blockchain to be decentralized. I think it's ok and sometimes even preferable to build centralized applications or interfaces on top

centralization exists on a spectrum and each side has advantages (cost, agility, coherence)

everything is trade-offs ; the flipside of agility is ~dependability. Builders want a stable foundation to build atop. The height of your skyscraper is determined by the strength of its foundation

each has their place

the CeDe mullet: centralized in the front (app for ux), decentralized in the back (strongest possible foundation)

this is, unsurprisingly, why the best companies are in the US (best rule of law in the world, or was anyway,,)
