I've been hooked on the Merlin bird ID app since autumn, but didn't want to bore the people here with screenshots.

My son and I recently read a book about birds and there were recordings of their voices, I really wanted to remember them and identify them in nature. But it turned out to be too difficult! Thank you for sharing the app, I didn't even know that such a thing existed!!

You can ID all living things! 
You can definitely ID frogs by sound. It’s location-based too so the ID’s are aligned with local observations. The best part is other people can help you ID things. 

I love downloading my data from their site every now and then - I used it for school projects in the past.
