Vitalik Buterin (@vitalik.eth) in a recent speech this week, encouraged builders to focus on consumers rather than building more advanced tools. Crypto is built to be used not understood 👍

> Crypto is built to be used not understood 👍 I hope that's not the conclusion people got :D Crypto is first and foremost about user empowerment, not user happiness. Empowerment benefits a lot from understanding. Though it's also okay if a user does not understand at first, as long as the resources are there if/when it comes time for them to need to.

You're absolutely right. It only makes sense that they understand what they're doing to truly enjoy its benefits. But many developers are focused solely on technicality that they forget the product is used by normal people. I guess a better way to put it is "build with the end user in mind" 🙂 Sound good?

Empowerment through understanding is the real catalyst for lasting change. Lowering barriers for entry is crucial, but building transparent, accessible pathways to mastery ensures users evolve into active participants — driving not just adoption, but meaningful impact. How do you see this balance evolving as crypto scales?

How do ETH and base builders of consumer products and experiences find market support from the EF, Coinbase, and L2 group? One would think there would be systems for builders to be supported and promoted (socially if not financially) but the mechanisms seem nonexistent and the KOLs ghost builders. Thoughts?
