this was the dream for urbit, as well. one graph, shared by all apps on your ship (and optionally socially-shared with others). alas, %graph-store died and new Groups is hard to work with as an API

Some key differences: - Most people still don’t know what Urbit is because it’s so abstract. - Farcaster’s social graph is tied to Ethereum addresses, immediately populating interesting content. - As goes the crypto industry, so goes Farcaster.

agreed about those yea. I’m still pretty convinced that users should own and host their own data, but i think there are a lot of really good use cases for the alternative (Hubs, etc) - FC being one of them
