Craving for Taco Thursday….

1 c jasmine rice
12 oz chicken stock
2 Tbs onion and tomato
1/2 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp of turmeric 
1 tsp homemade taco seasoning 
4 oz bell peppers 


Why these ingredients and ratio? It’s because it’s what I had leftover after making other stuff. It’s an experiment :)

If you come to Vietnam, I will invite you to my house and enjoy my beef fried rice

I spent a good chunk of time in Hanoi and when I go to Vietnamese restaurants in the states I always ask for my Bún Chả deconstructed and someone from the kitchen always comes out to ask my how long I was in Hanoi. 

Some of the best croissants I’ve had outside of Paris are from Vietnam.
