divorce is not just pain, it also brings unexpected insights.

i realized i was stuck in an emotional loop: with my mom, always acting like the adult solving all her problems, and with my husband, acting like a little girl who lacked real support and couldn’t get it from him.

now i have to learn to be both strong and vulnerable at the same time—and on my own.

Impossible is just a perception of a road not traveled, as you say “you have to learn” but some of the lessons you will learn you will not be able to choose... 

In some of my own times of disillusion in life, I have learned that growth through downturns is necessary, no one dies from anxiety and every new ending is a new beginning.

I know these phrases may sound like coffee cup slogans...but there are times when they help.
