I spent a few years working on government projects in the GCC a long time ago

Each one of these projects goes through a cycle of lets build this thing no one needs, lets make it big, lets compete with Dubai/Burj Khalifa (which has no functioning sewage system), oh lets scale it back

Wow. Who could have possibly guessed they'd never be able to actually build a 105 mile long megastructure in the desert? What a surprise.

I’d be surprised if they even make it to The Period.

Interesting, they introduced new adjacent projects a few months ago and now this. 

Now it will be a single (but long) building, not a city.
