What's something someone 20yo and younger won't understand about the world in the 90s?

When I was kid, you could wait for your family/friends at the airport gate. Not in the airport lobby, right at the gate. 

People could also come with you all the way to the gate to see you off.

Very disturbed to suddenly realize that I haven’t seen a firefly since I was a kid. And I do go outside frequently to touch grass 😟

If you called someone about an event or to hang out and they didn’t answer, they just didn’t come. 

We paid a lot of money to rent VCR tapes that still needed to be rewound. 

There were fireflies.

Haha you had to be specific on plans and where to meet up. No just oh I’ll meet you around here and we’ll figure it out

Oh man, there’s so much. I think the biggest one I can think of quickly is phones didn’t have 80% of the importance they do now. People could be outside for long periods of time, meet other people face to face not swipe on an app. A lot!  It’s wild how different things are if you stop and think about it
