Here is an old decommissioned pier, now it's a protected area and a colony of hundreds of thousands of bats live there. There's also a lot of cormorants, blue herons and harbor seals here. Happy water Wednesday ✌️

ahhh happy to hear of bat colonies! in north carolina I used to specifically go out at dusk for a walk to watch the local colony erupt out of the abandoned school kitchen chimneys stacks! it was a breathtaking sight every single time! 🦇😍🫶🏻 happy water wednesday oly love 💕
