loads and loads of emotional/traumatic backlog. are you familiar with the concept “the body remembers”? (actually, apparently I mis-remembered that, and it’s “the body keeps score” that I was referring to! I find this incredibly fascinating though because there is a book titled with remembers, and it’s by a Rothschild… I digress) so this book was recommended by my trauma therapist a few years back. I bought it. read a handful of pages. and have basically un/consciously been somatically exploring all of the different aspects of trauma that my body has kept record of. witnessing them to release. there are many, so this process has been so deeply rooted all the way before birth.

if you’re interested in hearing more, I’ll actually be sharing more of this over the coming weeks. because my process is entirely dependent on realizing that my nervous system is conscious. I believe they all are. and consciously observing something that is conscious… rewrites the narratives that are possible. I’ll be honest, I never did finish that book. so I’m not sure if neurotypical people can get more out of it than I did. I am absolutely neurodivergent and somatic-based. kind of just “making sense” of the stuff that is presented to me. it’s all unscripted and emergent to me.
