Airdrop parameters will never make everyone happy but our goal is help the project optimize for the aspects they're looking for e.g. typically get new high quality users to their project > "airdrop amount is too small" vs "not enough people are getting the airdrop" and "my attribute/action didn't get included" The more users included in the user list, the smaller the airdrop amount. We're trying to find a balance where it's enough for users to play around with but has enough users trying it out. Each project has a different criteria and it will vary > "I didn't get an airdrop" vs "I don't want to see airdrops" If you don't want to get airdrop offer notifications, ping me and I'll exclude you from future lists

Coming soon We will be working with developers / projects that want to give users airdrops. We’ll indicate what the developer is hoping to accomplish with the airdrop. Users that 1) opt in 2) do the desired action—use a frame, engage in a channel, etc.—will start to develop reputation as a good user to offer future airdrops to. Users that opt in, receive airdrops and don’t do the desired action will develop a reputation as a user to avoid offering airdrops. Ultimately, developers get to decide who to target (the data is permissionless). But I suspect airdrops on Farcaster will start to reward usage / go forward alignment. First airdrop next week!

Arguably, it depends on the asset. Bitcoin's decentralization is a function of miners competing for block rewards, not accrued holdings. even still, microstrategy (the largest individual holder of BTC) is in the low single digit percentage of total bitcoin and it's unlikely another will outcompete them. There is concern of price action, which does have second order effects with miners, but bitcoin has larger threats to miner abandonment moving forward even without this consideration. 1/
