A common misconception I see in product thinking / suggestions here: just do this thing I as a power user (or someone interested in decentralization) want. We're well past that from a growth standpoint. Settings and ethos aren't useful for driving at-scale consumer growth. The average new user is only interested in sign up or using Farcaster if they believe they will be entertained or make money (likely because a friend told them about it).

Yeah, this makes a lot of sense. Most people just want something fun or useful right away — they’re not thinking about values or settings at first. If it doesn’t hook them fast, they’re out. Power users forget how different the average user mindset is.
