I carefully approached them as I walked over in quick but steady steps How una dey na? I greeted them both as I gave em a handshake Surprise to see me they responded by saying they're good After cracking some jokes and easing the atmosphere I quickly chipped in Oh.. I heard you guys talking about web3? I question with a smile on my face. Meanwhile I was already very eager to share my knowledge. Omor, I no too know about am oo? But I hear say wuna dey chop money for web3. The one with the confused look answered I just know a thing or two but I'm still learning. The other dude quickly added. Having set the atmosphere Gotten their attention I proceeded to tell them all about web3.

πŸ’™ Firstly before I tell you all about web3 I did love to say that. It ain't magic or complicated It is just very broad like a single tree with lots of branches. The branches are connected to the same source even though the branches may have different shapes and sizes.

Blockchain is like a digital notebook or let me say a diary where anyone can leave an entry. Oh I ate Kimchi today at 9am. I played basketball today at 5pm. All these entries can be seen by everyone that has the person's name (wallet address) The best thing is. All entries can't be falsified or altered.

Once you've made an entry (transaction) you can't falsify it after it has been written successful. And the best part again is No one owns this digital notebook. It is open to all to come and write their entries It doesn't belong to any individual or organization. Blockchain is the foundation for all web3 applications

Web3 is just more like an advanced internet where you have control over your assets, data and privacy. It is built on blockchain technologies. So web3 projects and platforms literally uses blockchain to give users a decentralized experience
