I don’t want to be a founder who only knows how to build. I want to understand: Product. Distribution. Marketing. Sales. Users. Business. There’s a lot to learn. So I’m learning while doing.

Things not going your way can either discourage you or make you more curious. I’m choosing curiosity. What went wrong? What did I miss? What can I change? What does the data actually say? Then back to building.

One thing I’m learning as a founder: Persistence without direction can become wasted effort. You can work harder and still move nowhere. So I’m learning to pause, gather better information, listen to users, study what’s working, then act. Keep moving, but make sure you’re moving forward.

The goal isn’t to build one cool app. The goal is to become the kind of founder who can keep turning ideas into real products. That’s the skill I’m trying to compound. One launch at a time. 💙

I’m still figuring out funding, distribution, growth, product and everything else that comes with building. I don’t want to pretend I’ve made it. I’m just documenting the process as I go. Maybe someone building behind me can learn from it.

A reminder to myself: Don’t confuse being busy with making progress. There are always 50 things you could do. The hard part is figuring out which 2 actually matter.

I’ve built enough things now to know: Some ideas will work. Some won’t. Some will get traction and die. Some will teach you something that becomes useful years later. None of the work is wasted if you actually learn from it.

One of my favorite things about building in public: People get to watch the evolution. The ugly version. The redesign. The launch. The bugs. The wins. Not just the polished screenshot at the end.

I used to think being a founder meant having answers. Now I think it’s mostly about being willing to ask better questions. What do users actually need? What are they doing today? What isn’t working? Then build around the answers.

Building products has made me appreciate distribution way more. You can spend weeks building something nobody knows exists. The product isn’t finished when you ship. That’s when the real work starts.
