I recently rewatched “Star Wars” at the end of Episode 8, Rey, in search of Luke Skywalker, flies to a rocky island, some of the scenery in the scenes reminded me of this rock 😉

Cliffs of Moher, Ireland 🇮🇪

Welcome to where the land ends, but the wind does not.

These cliffs rise 214 meters and stretch for 8 kilometers along the Atlantic. And if suddenly it seems that someone is calling you, it is either a seagull or a Celtic spirit 🌬️🪶

📍 Some interesting facts:
• They were filmed in Harry Potter and The Princess Bride. Yes, yes, magic is officially confirmed here.
• The age of the cliffs is more than 320 million years. They are older than dinosaurs and your Wi-Fi.
• More than 20 species of seabirds live here, including puffins (yes, they are really called that).
• The name "Moher" comes from the old fortress that once stood on this site.
