How do you guys bounce back quickly after a hard run. It’s been 5 days since my race and my legs still feel beat up. Anyone have stem cells or something 😅

Depends on the race and current form. But always listen to your body…unless it’s being a little wimp…then you punish it!😂

Nice work on completing your race! Active rest and stretching have been my saviors. It’s no fun to walk or even light run the days following, but it’ll help keep things loose. Nutrition is key too.

Drinking too much water, dynamic stretching, and pushing through the pain of foam rolling.

Big fan of 30 - 60 min walks. Gets the legs moving, blood flowing to the tissues, and helps loosen things up for me.

honestly that's totally understandable, what was the distance? Foam roller, ice, going for small walks in the days after.

Like others have said. Walking is great. So is dynamic stretching. Light mobility work too. Just something to get blood into your legs.
