I've been using the new OpenSea a lot more now recently as they've fully rolled out their new refreshed platform 

It's not just about trading and minting NFTs anymore, you can search contract addresses on OpenSea and trade tokens

OpenSea is becoming much more of an onchain hub rather than just a NFT marketplace

If they leaned into AR/VR they can keep NFTs and the Metaverse alive.

Bearish on VR but bullish on AR

There’s an app on the Meta Quest called Art Plunge that takes users into art pieces like the Mona Lisa or Starry Night.

VR/AR  art galleries or museums are kinda cool.

I mean I agree. I use AR/VR together.

AR is physically “easier” to do now. It already fits in glasses.

The tech to minimize what’s in a Quest or Vision Pro into glasses doesn’t exist yet.

In a similar way to how a GB of data was the size of a garage is now the size of a fingernail.

That sounds cool and I’m sure there’s some niche applications of VR that people would enjoy 

But there’s a reason that Meta and others are leaning much into AR with the Meta RayBans and Meta Oakley glasses 

I think this is the future where AR integrates with our reality rather than VR taking us out of our reality
