Can't you just host a SQLite on Railway? I guess I'm trying to understand why I would set up a separate service.

I’m not an expert on database stuff at all, but I like SQLite cause it’s so easy to set up for local dev. And then Turso makes it super easy to set up your prod db, it’s dirt cheap, and you can do some fancy stuff like read only replicas, snapshots, etc

Tl;dr: SQLite is simple and more than enough for a lot of apps. Turso is a cheap and good SQLite host

What do you use this for, and how is this different from just using postgres? Like, is it for offline-first products? Or like, at what point would you use this over Postgres when thinking about building something?
