Today I’m working on the inner lining for my cigar pants. I thought for a second I could follow the sheer trend and get away sans lining, but realistically I’d never wear them. 

Plus the pure silk interior will feel lovely against the skin.

This is a super lightweight china silk btw. The pattern is made from the original but with the pleats and other unnecessary bulk removed. Also, no need for a full lining, so it will stop about mid-thigh.

lovely. and i am very partial to the sheer trend (feels like i've been alive for a few variations to cycle) but sheer pants are smidge too much for me. sheer tops for layering on the other hand....

Yes, ha, the transparency. I think it will be okay since both fabrics are super lightweight and have temperature regulating properties—part of the reason I love working with natural fibers!

Oh really, ah you mean because of transparency ?! Because I hate lined trousers for summer, but I agree sometimes seeing through is not nice at all
