i make art process videos, and some of them are timelapses where the audio ends up sounding like nails on glass, so i’m forced to mute it. would you recommend adding music/generic sounds in these cases, or is it acceptable to leave them audio free? also, can commercial tracks be used with credit, or do copyright restrictions apply?

If it helps, Edits app (from Instagram) now has royalty free music that you can use. Curious to know V’s answers to your questions.
