I made the maximum I can make w Farcaster rewards. I opted out of filling out the financial forms required to continue. I’m super conflicted about this because I always wanted to see creators making revenue off of the social apps they use (make) It’s just a really strange time in the world and I think I need to err on the side of removing personal data points rather than adding to them Ironically I could really use the financial boost. I enjoyed my personal experiment swapping for btc. File this into another case of me principling myself into poverty 😂 I have no judgment of people doing the financial doxx. Get your bag! Hoping for a reset first quarter next cycle. Until then may the odds be in all of our favor Thanks for the rewards @farcaster (@dwr.eth and team), it’s a good model

This is only for 2025 if it's Farcaster team paying out directly to the user, doesn't apply from earning peer to peer like collectibles or tipping The US regulatory threshold increases to $2k next year

I’m 100% with you on this. We are living under a government that actively seeks to punish dissenting opinions. Why would we want to tie our social activities to our tax identity? If this administration subpoenas that information, I would expect Merkle to comply and provide the SSNs of Farcaster accounts. I’m under no illusion that this information is available through other means, but I’m not volunteering it for a few hundred bucks @dwr.eth @linda
