Same thing happened to me with The Downward Spiral, but the CD was opened and nonreturnable. I listened to it religiously before they came home daily.

Honestly that type of experience just makes you love the music more. 10 years later I was listening to black/death metal. Probably bc I had to take that album back. 🤣
