Had my first (real) cascara today, at a new-to-me location, no less. I’m glad I did, too: this is literally the last one they will make because they are switching roasters and will no longer receive the supplies. It was good, but in a way that my mouth didn’t quite know what to do with it. The flavor wasn’t consistent throughout. Sometimes the fruitiness was rich, maybe even overbearing, while others it was either like coffee or tea.
