I was on a *strong* Hania Rani kick for a long time but recently drifted elsewhere. This might bring me back.

Right on, thanks for those suggestions. Most of the music that’s been suggested to be like hers isn’t capturing what I like about it so I’m keen to check these out.

Nice. I hadn't heard her before.  Definitely not, as you say, Jazz, not that genres matter too much.

But if you want to find similar stuff you might start at 60s-70s minimalism and follow that thread.  To me she sounds inspired by Terry Riley, Steve Reich and their more modern ilk such as Julia Wolfe, David Lang (basically all of the Bang on a Can people), Michael Torke, etc.  Then add Bjork-like "pop" on top.
