Being that it’s Father’s Day weekend, and acutely aware of how little summer free time remains, I wanted to spend some time with the kids doing activities they enjoy. Out on the course with the older two, we were playing behind a couple families at just a devastatingly slow pace. It was only frustrating because my oldest had to leave early to get to work. But as I watched them from this tee box I realized these parents were doing the same thing as me: trying to make the most of the time with their kids. And they were doing so earlier (and more patiently!) than I. The rest of the nine were played humbly & no longer frustrated.
