I’m a fairly social person but I try to avoid events attended but those I dislike at all costs

Have to skip my work friend’s birthday lunch because he invited someone I absolutely cannot stand. We don’t even work with this individual anymore so I don’t know why I have to suffer through their presence

My ego will be the end of my relationships with people eventually but we’ll revisit this thought when we cross that bridge
