I consulted a vet today aka ChatGPT and confirmed that Cannelle is going through a pseudopregnancy (false pregnancy). 

The symptoms of swollen teats, nesting behavior, clinginess, and lethargy show up 4-8 weeks post-estrus (after her heat). Since her heat ended at the end of March-ish, her false pregnancy is right on time. 

She usually sleeps in her crate (by choice) but recently she’s always on the bed with me. Normally her spot would be at the bottom of the bed, but she has inched her way closer to me to be as close to me as possible and now we are sharing a pillow…

Usually I enforce boundaries, but I can’t say no to her! Too precious! I feel bad she’s not feeling great. She feels funny and needs extra comfort rn, but at least we’re getting her spayed asap so she won’t have to deal with all these hormonal sufferings anymore.
