This is one big reason why im using Farcaster less and less.. Iāve also been enjoying life off chain for a bit, i will forever be grateful for this place and i will never leave it But the amount of ācult among the OGsā is ridiculous.. I was able to grow a lot on this platform and be influencial, even more than the OGs.. if we look at the numbers i was getting 10 times more interactions then people with 200k followersš And i think they didnt like that newcomers like me were able to steal their spotlight, simply with charisma, funny memes and art.. So theyāve built this system that @mvr is taking about, which itās so obvious even blind people can see. And dont even get me started on how they never truly accepted that $DEGEN is what made Farcaster what it is today.. Never cooperated with @jacek , never admited that $DEGEN is the actual native token of Farcaster.. They did work with Moxie tho, funny eh?

You know what is ironic to me? We seem to be on a sufficiently decentralized social media, with a sufficiently centralized rewards system. Donāt loose your mind too much bro, I know itās unfair, and youāre all 1000% right. But you canāt do shit about it, people has been screaming since the creation of this shit, did anything really changed? Nope, because it needs to be this way (apparently)

Me neither bro, you know respect and recognition are far more important then money for me. But I see your point, people are seeing it too, the say theyāre tweaking something this week because they saw āpeople taking advantageā of it And bro, believe me, Iām 10000% on your side here, but we canāt do shit, they wonāt listen. Itās their money (which also me and you and other 12k users gave them recently) and they will forever fell entitled to do whatever the fuck they want with it. But at this point, Iād rather see a formal paycheck regularly coming in to all the mfers living rent free in top 100, just to see them removed from there and let other ppl have a better chance to rank up.

The top is heavy. The long tail is more fair than most I e seen in crypto. $Degen was a total cabal hit and run for months. One season they nerfed the entire platform if you hadnāt been. Tip4tip. Follow4follow prior. Moxie. HEROES! Crytpo is one big ponzi up. And weekly rewards are more fair than most. It is ironic that the claim tis they are going for dauās though when it is so centered on the top for reach and discovery.

Degen was not a cabal. There were people exploiting the system, yes ofc, but i can assure you 1000% they made less money and grew less here than those who were doing it genuinely, without exchanging tips

Ahhh. Not sureā¦ Not one cabal, many. But thatās ok. Easy tweeks werenāt made to safeguard the system. Fresh capital can do that. The tweeks that were made never affected the top. Either way. Iāve learned that nothing really comes from the complaining side. (Even though I still partake in it)
