“What makes this operation particularly effective is its leveraging of Instagram's collaborative posting feature.” “Each post comes tagged with multiple collaborators, creating a network effect that extends the reach far beyond instagram.com/lilnouners' immediate following. The strategy is fiendishly simple yet devastatingly effective: identify influential creators within target subcultures, collaborate on visual content that incorporates the nounish aesthetic, and use Instagram's collaborative posting feature to ensure the content reaches the established audiences of these influencers. Each successful collaboration—whether with athletes or artists—creates a new transmission vector, extending the square-eyed contagion to previously uninfected populations.” ”With each collaborative post reaching tens of thousands of fresh eyes, the nounish aesthetic continues its relentless expansion through the global cultural bloodstream.” flows.wtf/story/skateboards-noggles-global-takeover

This Saturday marked the second edition of Lil @gnars at the iconic Praça XV in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Skateboarders from CDD Skatearte project partnered with Nounish teachers and organizers @brunopiu33 @deathcat and @thejasper and supporters including mcmingau70. The sun was strong but the energy from the kids never faded as they continued through the Olympic Boulevard, performing tricks and maneuvers all the way to Praça Mauá at Pier 2. There was a lunch stop for everyone to recharge before skating again in the afternoon. It was another day filled with skating and discovery for kids from the Cidade de Deus project, revealing new talents, strengths and opportunities. Thank you to everyone who helped and participated!
