Being able to post more than 2 photos in a cast. I get everyone is a fan of video but having posts with 5-6 photos is an easier and more tangible starting point compared to video which is a lot harder to perfect.

One thing people under apprecidont understand about video content is that it is "expensive" to create. Decent video creators are few and far between. Taking great/interesting photos is way easier and moves the needle way more than some idealistic perfect video feature that few people end up using much.

That doesn't mean video can't be successful it is just that it requires a whole lot more effort from users. Even if you look at Twitter most successful videos are just reposts of shit other people made. A great photo gallery feature on the other hand will have way more users.

No. The only reason to force 1-2 photos and threads is to get benefits metric wise. But end users don't want to have to screw around with dozens of posts to see a few images. It should basically replicate Instagram and Twitter/X functionality.

Do you think 5-6 photos in a post is preferable to a thread with 1-2 photos each?

I'm guessing this is like an album mode where you swipe through them? Or do they all stack up when you open the full cast?

Or do we just need full on article-style so you can have photos inline with the text, broken up as you see fit?
