Bathed my eyes in some new shit yesterday A fucking stab-in-the-retina directly Dopamine jab Funny feeling all over. The kind that stops your heart. Makes your skin fizzle. Takes your breath away. It's good to do that Once in a while. A big fuck off to the day in day out Grind. The kind that makes you think If I could just stop time Right here and right now I'd stay. And be happy. And then something happens And SNAP! You're back at it. Head no longer in the clouds. New shit no longer shiny And you wait for the days to pass For it all to pass. Until you get to do it again.
