Verify your account by connecting two socials (X, Phone or GitHub) and holding $25 in your wallet. 

Verified accounts are less likely to get the spam label and show up higher in the feed, replies and search. 

They are necessary to earn weekly rewards and qualify for airdrops

yeah, doesn't really feel crypto aligned to me. V stated that it wouldn't be kept, just used for verification method and not stored, but I don't see they need for it at all really, nor believe it's actually the best sybil detection method.

Honestly. How do we know it "wouldn't be stored" or if it's "used for verification" alone?

I think it's stored anonymously but not sure if that means it's encrypted or not. I'm sure there's a way to prove that if necessary. Even so, it's still not something I'd consider, at least not with a number connected to my real identity.
