Every party now is like a mini wedding. Kids from very young ages getting way more than they ought to in my opinion. Being centre of attention for hours, whole classes invited, presents and sweets all over the place, ball parks or activity events or magicians, way too much for four year olds.

Back in my day I could invite one friend ro the cinema, that was about it.
