Damn. The average user X with 100k followers earns about $70k a year just from posting. At the same time, Twitter is not a cryptocurrency project where the financial part is mandatory to encourage users. At the same time, Farcaster, which has a fairly good investment round and a solvent audience, cannot give its users with 100k followers even $300 per month. Perhaps the Farcaster Rewards system and other systems are not quite right? Because they give insanely little and supposedly say, “you're just here to cast,” and then demand quality content for $300 a month (in a good scenario).

I think I’m getting PTSD from the whole “high-quality content” thing. After spending so much time on FC, I’ve gotten close to dozens of people one by one, and even if I spend the entire day chatting with friends, posting, replying, and engaging nonstop, I end up making just $3 a week from FC. Korea’s minimum wage is around $8 an hour. I’m starting to think maybe it’s time to leave the friends I’ve grown attached to. Or maybe I should be learning to code instead—because FC loves builders and devs. They get $200–300 a week even if they don’t engage, post without saying a word, and get zero likes :)
