hot take: virtual backgrounds on streams mostly just look kinda… bad. the halo around the subject is visually jarring, and then the headrest of your chair suddenly decides to break the 4th wall & jump out at me. unless your office is in some kind of sex dungeon, your actual background has to be less distracting tbh

As far as pod guests go, I can actually fix a lot of lighting and ambiance in post if needed, but I can’t fix a glitchy virtual bg (and they’re all pretty glitchy) 

Also can’t fix an unmade bed but come on now people we’re grown lol

And you have a good set up but seriously the number of people who SHOULD use a virtual background and don’t is a much higher number lol I get sometimes you need to jump on a call in one of those boxes but it should be an exception to rule
