consumer crypto stakeholders seem to be relatively bullish on memecoins playing a key role in onboarding the next million or billion

this cycle's memecoins have been around for months now. what's the data show?

I am willing to bet that 80-90% of the people that bought these are hard core compulsive crypto gamblers and not new users. 

I am also completely out of touch with what is happening on TikTok so I might also lose that bet.  

I think meme coins will play a role but celeb coins are not meme coins.  It’s a new class

metal casting, 3d prints,
AI, robotics and mashups of all of these things.

seem to remember it being a thing a few years ago but so disconnected from that app... just spent the last half hour on X and its such a dumpster fire there with all the sol garbage.  its really sad this is what most people in general public think crypto is about.

i don't think memecoin stuff is happening on TikTok tbh or at least I haven't seen any of it yet
