Shoukd really rethink the PB model imo but yeah more users will be seen 💯 PB holders still too scared to interact with them tho 😞

i doubt that. I think its more of a time thing. there is only so much time in the day i want to spend of FC and that is mostly used catching up with people that i know. I dont want to necessarily have 5000 friends i want to keep up with.

Imagine joining farcaster and not knowing anyone, then not having any of your interesting posts show up and also not having anyone interact with u because u don't have a PB 🤷 It's a horrible onboarding exp imo It's great for those that have established connections I enjoy it here with or without a PB but I don't think new users have a good experience rn

Thats exactly what i did for a month and a half, I was on here every day posting stuff and replying for hours a day for months and months, I was mainly finding people i wanted to learn from and be friends with.. It took me weeks and weeks and weeks to reach 400 followers. Its way easier now. I know someone that got a powerbadge last week and she has 114 followers. If you treat farcaster like instagram or twitter where you fire off posts then run off, you will wither and die here. I hope that never changes.

Yep most ppl won't grind that much on a new platform, if we want more adoption by the masses imo the PB model isn't it It's easier now and there are dedicated groups, chats etc to assist you I think they could just scrap the PB system tbh derank low quality posts and boost higher ones

conversation. it's the easiest way to spot bots; they're terrible at it or don't bother. some humans are indistinguishable from bots and that's sad to me. proof of human takes work. sucks, but that's the world we made 😅
