Two weeks ago my cardiologist was recommending a pacemaker for me, but deferred to the judgement of the electrophysiologist. Not only did the EP not recommend a pacemaker right now, but he said I can begin training and racing again without restriction!!! Time to make a comeback!!! After 4 months of a myriad of tests and no real training, i can get back to being myself. Goal is to race at National championships in August and World Championships in October. 🏊 Just scored 7 points for swimming on @griv!

Man, I don’t even know if I told you the worst case scenario they were screening for, but it was far worse than a pacemaker if they couldn’t rule out ARVC. They were able to rule it out with Csrdiac MRI and genetic testing
