something in the HP universe would def be fine

batman is a good point but those (director or lead actor) were mostly contained to 2-3 movies and well into the batman timeline. the HP leads were in 8(!) movies and started only a few years after the HP books themselves. those actor-character combos are *so* deeply entrenched in pop culture at this point

we’ll see. honestly the inner cynic in me is a bit skeptical bc of how much IP is recycled as a crutch and easy $ grab these days too
