bracky thinks celtics won the trade I agree. Simons is an interesting lotto ticket, w no long term commitment; celtics have either (1) more youth or (2) more financial flexibility when tatum is back in 2026. it wouldn't surprise me if celtics discover a new gear for simons – big unlock would be if getting him to play league-average D h/t @kagami

Brad Stevens making the money moves yes and love the high ceiling age of Simmons. IMO that flexibility in second apron league yes will be crucial to ownership/org but hurt appeal for good players to want to go there. Suprised im not seeing more on this the Celtics have no loyalty so they shouldn’t expect to be rewarded for it. Jrue was the Caruso of Celtics
