Unteachable: Resilience / Persistence The amount of no’s you have to endure to get to your yes I think is the difference between being a founder and someone’s employee.

Disagree. Resilience can be taught (and most likely is a product of upbringing)

My dad gave me this rock in 4th grade that had “Never, never quit.” engraved on it. I always thought of it for sports, but it probably shaped me in life. Do feel like this was a “teaching” Wonder if it’s something like languages though where it’s easier to learn when you’re young

Sports are the biggest teachers. Discipline in a skill, understanding how to lead and when to follow, building a culture, understanding teamwork and how to play to everyone’s strengths, being coachable, having accountability… the list goes on.

Definitely easier to learn when you’re young (as probably anything). Still 100% a muscle you can train.
