Common grammar error 1. I and My Friend ✖️ My Friend and I ✔️ I and my friend are coming. ✖️ My friend and I are coming. ✔️ It’s just good manners to mention others before yourself in English. You don’t enter a room and shout “I and everybody!” Nah. Be polite, even in grammar. 🤭 2. “I met with my cousin brother yesterday.” ✖️ “I met my cousin yesterday.” ✔️ Sister Ireti, in grammar, there’s no such thing as “cousin brother” or “cousin sister.” Your cousin is your cousin. Okay? Thank you, Sister! 3. They are discussing about me. ✖️ They are discussing me. ✔️ Ireti, sit down. "Discuss" does not need “about.” It already contains the idea. Saying "discuss about" is like saying “return back” or “climb up.” Where else do you want to climb? Down? 😁
