How do you market to a zoomer the proposition of a social network for crypto? After installing TikTok this seems insane, if not impossible. They‘re literally programmed with wanting to look good, playing IRL social status games and it‘s all very locally contextual too (I only got Berlin related content). It feels impossible to win because there‘s always a sunset, party or a hot person you could scroll to instead. Most yapper videos are easily swipped away. In crypto, we have none of that. TikTok is the best Girardian trap basically. I can see why someone would watch TikTok though and then seek the methods of crypto to achieve more of their goals. Still crypto won‘t play a crucial role because it is super cringe in that world, so it has to remain a backend essentially

Also, it‘s actually crazy how bad Youtube Shorts are compared to TikTok. Youtube Shorts still repeats the same irrelevant video for weeks on end. TikTok instead showed me locally contextualized content that I have literally not seen anywhere in this depth before.

I think there is powerful financial incentive here, at least on the protocol level.
