My warplet is seriously cluttered with illiquid Zora coins and other shit that can't be sold. Someone tell me, why tip with something that has no liquidity for swaps? Seems like a cruel trick or something to me.

I’m not a fan of tipping people with super random tokens like that. It’s fine with some of the bigger projects, but with creator coins and other fly-by-night nonsense it feels like a dust attack. For me, tipping is done with stables (or if you’re a purist eth/btc and the like. Even the token I tip in $SPOT and the token I’m considering switching to $BREAD, are in that stablecoin realm. Before that I only tipped in $USDC

I'm right there with ya. Other than any allowances (degen, tipn/betr, etc) I tip with USDC. Dusting attack I guess I can sort of see. My issue with the Zora creator tokens as tips is two fold. As I've already said there are liquidity issues with most of them. Let's say there actually is some liquidity, well I still have to spend 2 cents, sometimes more, in gas to swap like 3 cents worth. The splits involved with these Zora assets just cause swap fees to multiply. Lately I've been getting a lot of tips of other stuff too. Looks like dead or rarely touched tokens that sometimes have only ever had a few tx ever in their history. I'm not sure if someone is dumping trash on me on purpose or what, but it's annoying. Some examples I cleared out today were Send App, Crwto Legend, Backroom, Based John, Wach, etc. All garbage.

Yeah, the annoying thing is going to be taxes. Let’s say you received $0.01, a million times over, but weren’t able to liquid a single penny of it. Can you convince the government you shouldn’t pay taxes on that?

That's why crypto transactions below a certain amount should be exempt.
