i was at the airport today to pick my parents up from their trip whilst i was waiting i saw an older couple standing with anticipation the arrival doors opened and a woman arrived with her huge case it was their daughter she looked around 25/26ish they opened their arms to embrace her and she immediately whipped out her phone to film content getting 0.5 selfie video of her hugging her mum then her dad it wasnt even a proper hug cos her phone was up in the air getting the right angle they wanted a hug she wanted content its a cold world out here

Well I'm positive about this, she might want to capture the moment for future purposes, remember pictures are memories, but she's wrong not explaining to her parents and might make them feel less precious.

i thought about this aswell my memory is really bad and i get into a habit of wanting to capture everything incase i forget it but she will miss every single moment if she doesn’t live it and watching it back through a screen isnt the same it really had me reflecting i think some moments are just meant to be a memory not stored
