We need to do more of our events in the other parts!

So true. It’s hard for me to even say I visited Singapore when I feel like I only saw the inside of Marina Bay Sands. Many such cases for people traveling on tight schedules.

What’s your favorite area to walk around among the other parts?

Building a little space at /thenextwave and watching everything on /videolab.

MacRitchie Reservoir is a great place for walking. The nice part about SG is that most residential areas (i.e heartlands) have parks and parks are connected via a Park Connector Network that essentially runs throughout the whole country.

PCN is not all that great for walking due to all the electric scooter traffic. I’m lucky enough to be near a PCN that is home to a family of otters, an eagle (?), a bunch of monitor lizards etc. 

You know, it’s funny we had a few SG farcaster meetups in the past and we joked that we need to have vitalik join us one day. Sounds not impossible? Come join us once! We can do trails and makan.

I do wish that more of the PCN had sky bridges or tunnels to cross the roads though

Soooo much better experience when it's uninterrupted and you don't have to worry about intersections, you can just turn off your brain and go 10+ km

(and tree cover to not be too hot at daytime)

Rail corridor (until ~15km) is great at this, as is (obviously) east coast park.
