Gifts are meant to be shared. 

Why is that? There is something about if someone gives you a gift, there is something about passing it forward. It keeps the cycle going but why? 

My argument is this. The action of giving is more important than the gift it self. Well the content matters too, but the action is what makes it real. And real is rare.

Exactly. It’s the act of giving that creates connection and meaning, passing it on keeps that energy alive, not just the object.
