It bothers me that if you go to CBC’s poll tracker. The first thing you see is the popular vote, which due to a huge concentration of one-party voters in Alberta, gives the impression that the conservatives are close behind the Liberals. 

They’re not. We elect MPs, not prime ministers in Canada.

I think it’s about the drama. Like “this is such a contentious election!”

No it’s not. Canadians don’t like Conservative politics. The biggest difference with this election is how much everyone is rallying around one party, even at the expense of the popular third and fourth party options that help create checks and balances.
