About Clip: ELI5: Like Reddit, but people earn from posting and commenting Our goal is to find PMF i.e answer these 3 questions: 1. Crypto-Native: Is /c/crypto fun enough for daily use (readers + traders)? 2. Normie-Friendly: Can we grow channels beyond crypto? 3. Scalable Playbook: Can we repeatedly launch high-quality, positive-sum channels? After PMF: Go after Reddit with the first major Web3 “vampire attack.” Risks: 1. Smart contracts are currently unaudited. Ape responsibly. 2. We’re in Beta and shipping fast: expect bugs.

Clip’s looking solid—UX is smooth, but onboarding’s still kinda rough for normies (a “start without wallet” option could help). Good comments get buried fast, maybe tweak how voting or collapsing works. Feature ideas: let channels tweak reward settings, add rep badges, and maybe drop in a summary bot for long threads. Reddit’s wide open to be outplayed—mods have too much control, karma farming ruins content, and the site feels bloated. If Clip stays light, rewards real insight, and puts power in the community’s hands, it could really win.
